See your Probation Officer for full explanation of the conditions. While standard parole conditions are not provided, they are very similar to those found below. Besides Standard Conditions of Probation and/or Supervised Release, Special Conditions may be imposed by the Court at the time of sentencing. In New Jersey, the following Special Conditions may be set by the Court in which the offender shall: Alcohol Treatment refrain from the use of alcohol and shall submit to testing to ensure compliance. Must submit to evaluation and treatment (contract or non-contract) as directed by the U.S. Probation Officer. Community Confinement reside for a (court imposed period) of months in a community corrections center/ halfway house or similar residential facility and pay subsistence as required by the program. Community Service contribute (court imposed) hours of community service work. Such service shall be without compensation and the work place is to be approved by the U.S. Probation Office. Computer Access Denial not possess, procure, purchase or otherwise obtain access to any form of computer network, bulletin board, Internet, or exchange format involving computers unless specifically approved by the U.S. Probation Office. Computer Access Monitoring submit to an initial inspection and to any unannounced examinations of computer equipment, and allow the installation of any hardware or software systems which monitor computer use as determined by the U.S. Probation Office. DNA Collection cooperate in the collection of DNA as directed by the probation officer (see FAQ - DNA collection for more detailed description) Domestic Violence participate in an approved program for domestic violence. Drug Treatment/Urinalysis shall refrain from the illegal possession and/or use of drugs and shall submit to urinalysis or other forms of testing to ensure compliance. Must submit to treatment on an outpatient or inpatient basis as directed by the U.S. Probation Office. Financial Disclosure provide full disclosure of financial records to include yearly income tax returns upon the request of the U.S. Probation Office. Gambling Treatment refrain from all gambling activities, legal or otherwise and shall attend Gamblers Anonymous or similar treatment as directed. Shall register on the self-exclusion lists maintained by the New Jersey Casino Control Commission and Racetrack Commission within 60 days of supervision and remain on theses lists for the duration of supervision. Gateway National Park shall refrain from entering Gateway National Park while on Probation. Home Confinement shall be confined to residence for a (court imposed) period of months, be required to be at this residence at all times except during such times as specifically authorized by the U.S. Probation Office. Shall wear and electronic monitory device and shall pay the costs of this equipment. (see FAQ Electronic Monitoring for details) Immigration and Customs Enforcement cooperate with Immigration and Customs Enforcement to resolve any problems with status in the United States. If deported, shall not re-enter the U.S. without the written permission of the Attorney General and then shall report to the nearest U.S. Probation Office within 48 hours of re-entry. Internal Revenue Service cooperate with the IRS by filing all delinquent or amended returns within 6 months of the sentence date and file all future returns during the period of probation. Mental Health Treatment participate in a mental health program for evaluation and/or treatment and remain in treatment until satisfactorily discharge. No Contact with Minors follow the directions of the U.S. Probation Office regarding any contact with children of either sex under the age of 18. This includes employment or volunteer work with minor children. Shall not have a collection of films, slides, pictures, tapes, videotapes or other forms of pictorial representation whose subject matter involves minors that can be deemed to be pornographic. No New Debt be prohibited from incurring any new credit charges or opening additional lines of credit without the approval of the probation office. Shall not liquidate interest in any assets unless it is in direct service of the fine obligation. Occupational Restrictions (see your probation officer for details) Polygraph submit to an initial polygraph examination and subsequent testing as the discretion of the probation officer. Shall contribute to the costs of services rendered as determined by the probation officer. Sex Offender Registration register with the state sex offender registration agency in any state where they reside, are employed, carry on a vocation or are a student. Other Special Condition comply with additional special conditions unique to the case such as suspension of driver's license for a (court imposed) period of time; attend and complete (court imposed) number of IDRC classes. |
